About AI Deprecations

AI Deprecations tracks when AI models are deprecated and shut down. A script fetches each provider's official deprecation page daily, parses the tables, and normalizes them: provider, model ID, status, announcement date, shutdown date, recommended replacement, source URL and check time.

Rules: only dates printed on the official page are used. Unknown fields stay empty; we never guess. “No earlier than” / “or later” dates are shown as notes, not firm shutdown dates. Status: retired if the shutdown date has passed, deprecated if a future shutdown date or deprecation is published, otherwise active.
